Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy explains prohibited uses of Convomesh and related services. It applies to merchants, operators, team members, end users, API consumers, and anyone accessing the platform.
1. Lawful use only
- You must use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable privacy, consumer, marketing, and platform rules.
- You must not use the service to violate contractual obligations, third-party rights, or marketplace policies.
2. No abuse or disruption
- You must not interfere with, disrupt, damage, disable, overload, probe, or bypass the security or stability of the service.
- You must not attempt unauthorized access to accounts, infrastructure, data, queues, logs, or internal endpoints.
- You must not use automation to degrade performance, evade rate limits, or generate excessive background load.
3. No harmful or deceptive content
- You must not use the service to create, store, distribute, or promote fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, or unlawful content.
- You must not use the service for spam, phishing, impersonation, credential harvesting, or malware distribution.
- You must not use the service to generate or send abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or exploitative communications.
4. Data handling restrictions
- You must only sync or process data you are authorized to use.
- You must not upload or transmit sensitive personal data unless the service and your agreement expressly support that use.
- You must not use the service to re-identify anonymized data or combine data in a way that violates law or consent requirements.
5. AI and automation restrictions
- You must not use the service to make unlawful automated decisions or to generate content intended to mislead consumers about human involvement, pricing, availability, or outcomes.
- You must not use generated outputs as a substitute for required legal, clinical, financial, or safety review.
- You must maintain appropriate human oversight for merchant-facing and customer-facing automations.
6. Platform and integration rules
- You must comply with Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Cloud, and other integrated platform requirements that apply to your use of the service.
- You must not use the service in a way that risks suspension of shared infrastructure, sending reputation, or upstream provider accounts.
7. Security expectations
- You are responsible for protecting credentials, API keys, session access, and operator access to your account.
- You must promptly notify us if you become aware of unauthorized access, misuse, or a security incident involving the service.
8. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where necessary to protect customers, merchants, infrastructure, third parties, or legal compliance.
